The boy suffered glans

The boy suffered glans amputation during circumcision by a quack. The initial repair was done by suturing the skin with urethra over the cut surface of cavernosa. But after 6 months, besides the cosmetic disfigurement, the meatus became stenotic and the boy was unable to micturate.

We performed a neoglansplsty using a buccal mucosal graft.

On this week's episode of Meet the Penis, Dr. Perito is joined by Dr. Matthew Brennan, who explains what treatments are avoid for patients with spinal cord injuries, and how it pertains to penile implants.

Penile implants and treatments for ED depend on the complexity of the spinal cord injury's level, completeness, and the time since the injury. While many patients can maintain their erectile function, up to 80% will need treatment, typically in the form of a three piece penile implant.
